05/21/2017 - College PREP - San Antonio, TX - Hope lit it up during on court competition. As an attacker she was able to score easily and hit a variety of shots. She was able to hit the line particularly well. She has a high contact and jumps well. I would like to see her open her hand bigger to cut down on some of the contact issues and wait a little longer before beginning her approach. She sometimes arrives early. As a server, she contacts nice and high. I would like to see her add power by getting open and using a faster arm through the contact. She has good control and was able to serve location on command. She uses her athleticism to pursue balls well defensively, consistently finding the target and making good reads on the ball. The same is true for her as a passer. Hope did a good job of finding the target and passing to the setters area to keep her team in system. Hope is an athletic outside hitter that does well in a team setting. She comes alive in team play and is able to highly contribute and perform well for her team.
