08/20/2017 - College PREP - Portland, OR - Morgan Olofson is a 2018 libero. As a passer Morgan creates good angles with her platform - she moves well on the court and is always balanced when passing which helps provide a good quality pass. As a defender she is able to make plays and works hard to get a piece of the ball. Determined to pay at the next level she is continuing to work on her passing & defending skills. She is focusing on keeping platform away from her body and being able to take balls above her head with her hands. She is also working on being more vocal on the court. Morgan is comfortable taking the second ball if they setter digs the first contact and get the balls to her pins. Her bail out sets have good height on them but she is continuing to work to make sure that the sets are a little more out as they tend to die inside a bit. From the end line she has a standing float serve. To be more effective from the end line she is continuing to work on a solid, flat hand contact and the location of where the ball goes. As Morgan is entering her senior year we are excited to see where she ends up playing at next fall.
