08/20/2017 - College PREP - Houston, TX - Vivian Lindsey is a 2018 libero. Vivian is a hardworking player. She hustles to every ball and is very vocal on the court. As a passer and defender she does a good job with making plays and has good court awareness. She has a good low, wide base. She continues to improve with her passing by focusing on not swinging or guiding her platform to target and being disciplined defensively; staying patient in base reading the play and then making the move - occasionally she adds in extra movement that takes away from her ability to make an effective play. From the end line Vivian has a jump float serve. With continued practice and confidence behind the end line her serve could develop into a consistent, effective serve. She is currently focusing on keeping her toss out in front of her so that she has a better contact on the ball; she is also work on bringing her serve down so that it passes closer to the net. Entering into her senior year we are anxious and excited to see where Vivian ends up committing to; we believe that her work ethic and personality will be a great addition to a collegiate program.
