11/26/2017 - College PREP - Chandler, AZ - Aliyah Moore is a 2021 outside hitter. Aliyah has a lot of potential and can definitely play at the college level. She needs proper technical training to improve Volleyball IQ. She needs lots of reps in the front row and especially back row passing and defense. She will be far more valuable to a team with improved ball control. As an attacker she has a very aggressive and fast arm swing. Her left arm drags which decreases her vertical and takes critical shots and angles away. She has to learn how to adjust to the ball/set to improve shots and increase attacking options. As a defender and passer she has a nice set platform but needs to finish her feet to the ball and hold her finish, at times tends to swing platform. Defensively she needs to work on reacting faster and talking more on the court. From the end line she has a tough serve with nice speed that passes low to the tape and is difficult to pass. She needs to focus on her toss as sometimes it is to far out from her and she adds an extra step at the beginning of her serve that is unnecessary. You want to think "less is more".
