06/18/2017 - AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship
- Alyssa Hutchinson is a 2018 Libero. She is hardworking player who is always working to improve and help her team get better. As a passer she has good footwork and gets to the ball to pass - she stays low and is balanced and delvers a good consistent ball to the target/setter. She is also comfortable with taking balls with her hands. Defensively she makes plays and has good court awareness. She makes sure to have a low wide base and makes a conscious effort to get her feet to the ball or put her self in a better position to dig a ball rather than just reaching. From the end line she has a strong jump float serve. Alyssa continues to work on developing her game so that she is ready for the next level. She is continuing to work on serving in pressure situations. Overall Alyssa is a joy to coach and would be a great addition to a collegiate program.
07/17/2016 - Volleyball Factory Summer Classic
- Alyssa is a 2018 Libero, and is a solid player that is in complete control defensively. Alyssa makes players around her better and displays good leadership qualities. As a skilled player, Alyssa possesses good control of the ball in pass, serve, and defense. She did a great job of getting her platform out early and beating the ball being able to make a settable and allow the setter to be able to make a three option set. She shows willingness to continue to grow and improve. Alyssa will be a reliable addition to any team looking to compete. She is able to take control of the back row and coach up her teammates to improve their game while maintaining her role on the court as well.
12/05/2015 - College PREP - Edmond, OK
- Alyssa is a 2018 Libero. She had good speed and solid contact with the ball on her serve, creating a consistent jump float each time. Alyssa had great lateral movements while in defense and serve receive which led to accurate passes to the setter. Being a very vocal player created her to be more aggressive on plays and pushing her to the next level in defense picking up a lot of balls. She is continuing to work on her reaction time when she is playing defense out of middle back. Overall, Alyssa is a hard working player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the next level and be a valuable asset to a great collegiate program.
