07/20/2017 - Volleyball Factory Lone Star Select Training - Anjeline Arnakis is a 2019 middle blocker. Anjeline jumps well and is able to move & adjust to where the setter is due to the location of the pass - she constantly works to be up and available. She has a good arm swing with good power and has the ability to hit a slide. She continues to work on her spacing to the setter and the net and staying open to her setter when she goes in to attack giving her more hitting options & more range. As a blocker she has the tools to be a great blocker. She has a big presence at the net and is strong. Anjeline reads the setter well and penetrates over the net getting constant touches on the ball or stopping the attacker all together. She is continuing to work on staying & returning to a good base and athletic position so that if the play continues she is able to move and react quicker. From the end line she is a good jump float that is consistent and has good power. Anjeline continues to work on her power in her serve by making sure her toss is more in front of her hitting shoulder which will help her increase power and control as she hits through the ball instead of across her body. Entering her junior year she still has plenty of time to make some minor adjustments to help elevator her game. Anjeline shows great potential to land her self with a good competitive program where she will be a great addition.
