09/24/2017 - College PREP - Nashville, TN - Avery Tidwell is a 2019 Libero. Avery is a sound libero who can be relied on to make plays and keep rallies alive. She has good clean technique which produces quality results. She continues to focus on trusting her feet to get to balls or run through them to make plays and to not break her elbows when passing. She is comfortable taking the second ball when the setter takes the first one and puts up a good ball for the pins to hit. She is comfortable finding either pin and gives them space to swing. From the end line she has both a standing float and a jump float serve. We at the Factory would like her to use and work on her jump float serve more as it has the most pop on the ball and is the most difficult to pass. With continued reps and being mindful to keep the ball in front of her, this serve could turn into a very effective serve. As a junior Avery continues to work toward her goal of playing in college by staying focused on the feedback given. We at the Factory are ver excited to see her progress and what college she will end up attending in Fall 2019. We believe she would be a good asset as a player and a person.
