12/20/2017 - Under Armour Volleyball Factory Winter Training in Colorado Springs
- Briana has good ball control and court awareness. She is fun to work with and is a college level player. She needs to increase her defensive range and aggressively go after all balls. She starts and plays defense way too high. That’s why her range is limited she is on top of the ball chasing it down. With continued reps and focus on these areas Briana will see a jump in her game. As a senior we are excited to see where she ends up playing this fall.

- Briana Tovar is a 2018 libero. As a defender and passer she posses quality technique. She has great footwork that always puts her in the best position to pass and be balanced. Her platform is strong and simple - she has a good touch on the ball. She has good court awareness, is able to make plays and make adjustments depending on the scenario. She is also very vocal on the court talking to her teammates throughout the play. From he end line she has a consistent jump float serve that has good speed. At times she miscontacts the ball - she is focused on improving that and making sure to contact the ball in the back middle of it. With continued reps her serve could become very effective and difficult to pass by her opponents. Overall Briana is a sound ds/libero and would be a good addition to a college program. Entering her senior year we are anxious and excited to see where she commits to.
