07/17/2016 - Volleyball Factory Summer Classic
- Camille is a 2017 Outside/Middle. She had good speed and consistency on her serve with a good location while serving zones. During defense and passing, she had good ball control with a solid platform creating a settable ball, while working to gain more ground laterally it will allow her to become a big threat in the back court. She makes a fluid movement from serve receive and transitioning to the outside with a good backswing and creating a high touch on the ball making it easy for her to work around the block. Camille is currently working on her defense off the net and transition out for the attack. Overall, she is a hard working player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
04/22/2015 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Competition in Puerto Rico
- Camille brings good height and a willing attitude to her position as a middle/outside. She has great physical tools to really elevate her game at the next level and is still figuring out all she is capable of doing. I would like to see her challenged a bit more by running a faster offense and working on some technical details with her arm swing and speed to balls. Camille showed the ability to make adjustments quickly and take instruction well. At the next level Camille will be a great canvas for her coaching staff. She is highly capable of making it to the next level with hard work and willing attitude.
02/04/2015 - College PREP - Baltimore, MD
- Camille is working to build on the foundation she already has as a player. She showed balance in all skills with the ability to continue to grow and work to elevate skill. She seems willing to know more and once information is provided has the ability to make changes. In regards to serving, Camille can work on having better contact on the ball and placing the ball in specific zones. In serve receive, she has good body position, but she struggles to angle her passing platform to target. I would like for her to be more vocal on the court and I am sure that will happen as she gains more confidence through playing experience. Defensively, Camille has the tendency to stand flat footed and does not move towards the ball when it is short infront of her. She can improve her reaction time by reading what is happening on the other side of the net in practice or during the match. Lastly, Camille can work on getting her feet stopped when the hitter makes contact so that she can get her body in the best position possible. Offensively, Camille can improve on having more power in her attack as well as her transistion footwork so that she is able to get a good approach to the ball. She can specifically work on her timing on the slide and working to drive her arms when gathering to the ball. While blocking, Camille does a good job of closing, pressing, and penetrating, but needs to work on mirroring the hitter as a middle blocker. Overall, Camille is still improving as a player but is on the right track as she works to smooth out her play.
