12/27/2014 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Winter Competition at Lake Placid - Dani makes players around her better through her communication and leadership skills as well as her actions. As a skilled player, Dani possesses good ball control in pass, serve, and defense. She shows willingness to continue to grow and improve. She will be a reliable addition to any team looking to compete. I would like to see her set location improve as it will be very important for her to set her hitters well if the setter takes the first ball.
07/10/2014 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Summer Competition at Lake Placid - Dani has a spunky energy about her that makes her team rally around everything she is doing on the court. She provides support through her steady countenance on the court. She is quick and responsive to instruction. Technically I would like to see her refine her skills a bit more but she is well on her way to becoming a defensive dynamo. Dani has a habit of playing balls out of her frame with one hand - I would like to see her work on technique to pursue balls all the way to the floor with two in order to maintain more control of the result. Over the course of the event I saw Dani improve from the start to the finish and believe she will make the proper adjustments to make her a sought after libero for the right program. She has a lot of potential and as just a freshman she has a lot of time to build on the already solid foundation she has started.
