07/20/2017 - Volleyball Factory Lone Star Select Training
- Destiny Crouch is a 2018 libero. Destiny does a good job digging and passing balls that are at her. She has good footwork and produces a quality ball to the target/setter. She has good court awareness and is able to make the plays for her team. Destiny is a hard worker and is continuing to improve and elevate her game as her prepares for college. She is focusing on being disciplined with her platform - not "preying" or swinging/guiding the ball to the target. She is also working on staying aggressive and getting after as many balls as she can. From the end line she has good jump float serve. Over the four days that the Factory staff worked with her she showed great improvement with this fundamental and it was mostly geared toward providing a consistent good toss. When she had a good toss, she was able to connect with the ball and send the serve over with more power making it more difficult to pass. As Destiny enters her senior year, we are anxious and excited to see where she will end up playing in college.
10/02/2016 - College PREP - Louisville, KY
- Destiny is a 2018 Libero who has an aggressive float serve that crosses low to the net. She does a good job of getting her platform out quickly, angling her arms which results in good location to target. Destiny displays good hustle and eagerness to learn making her a very coachable player. Currently, Destiny is working on beating the ball to the location and staying towards the sideline on defense. She does a great job of squaring up to the net when setting which makes for hittable balls to her hitters. We are excited to see what collegiate program Destiny chooses in the next couple of years!
