07/16/2015 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Summer Training at Lake Placid
- Kahlen is a solid player that is in complete control defensively. She makes players around her better and displays good leadership qualities. As a skilled player, Kahlen possesses good control of the ball in pass, serve, and defense. She shows willingness to continue to grow and improve. Kahlen will be a reliable addition to any team looking to compete. I would like to see her serve improve so she will be considered a threat not only in defense but serving.

- Kahlen offers consistency in play across the board and is very coachable, which will allow her skill level to continue to develop. She is able to serve to specific zones consistently and aggressively. In serve receive and passing, she was able to get her feet to the ball and pass a good ball to target. I would like to see her be more aggressive and vocal while playing defense, but I am sure that will come with more experience and confidence through playing more. While setting, Kahlen knew when to use her hands versus her platform. I would like to see her work on the location of the set if she has to take the second ball. If Kahlen can continue to work on the small technical details of each skill, she will be a nice contributor to the right team.
