09/24/2017 - College PREP - Nashville, TN - Kailey Clark is a 2018 middle blocker. Kailey is a hardworking, aggressive player who plays larger than her size. As an attacker she jumps well, has a fast strong arm swing with good power and has the ability to hit varied shots. She is also a smart hitter & able to keep balls in and put them where defense has to work. As a blocker she takes up good space at the net, works hard to close the blocks and gets quality touches to slow down or stop the hitter. She is also comfortable with passing. She has good touch on the ball and puts up quality passes. From the end line she has both a standing float and a jump top spin serves. Her jump top spin serve could be the stronger of the two, as long as she keeps her toss out in front and doesn't get caught under neath it. Kailey will be a great add to a future program - she is coachable, a good teammate and woks hard. At the Factory we also think she could be looked at as an opposite making her a versatile hitter being able to hit in the middle & opposite. In her senior year now and getting closer to college we are anxious to see where she goes and excited to see her continue to grow with the sport.
