09/13/2015 - National Tryout - Phoenix, AZ
- KC is a 2018 Outside hitter. She had good speed and consistency on her serve with a good location while serving zones. During defense and passing, she had good ball control with a solid platform creating a settable ball, while working to gain more ground laterally it will allow her to become a big threat in the back court. She makes a fluid movement from serve receive and transitioning to the outside with a good backswing. KC had some big swings and a solid approach on the ball with a strong cross court shot. Overall, she is a hard working player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
12/27/2014 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Winter Competition in Colorado Springs
- KC is working to build on the solid foundation she already has as a player. We would like to see her continue to work on her timing of her approach and increase in the power when attacking. She brings great height to the court and has a natural feel for the position. She is able to make adjustments quickly once information is provided, and proves to be above average for her age level. When blocking, she shows better timing and closes the majority of the time. She also shows a solid serve that is projectable for next level play. Improving footwork when attacking will be another key to her development. Only a sophomore now, KC has time and ability to make adjustments as she gets more high level experience.
