11/05/2017 - College PREP - Naples, FL - Kendyl Bryson is a 2022 outside hitter. As an attacker she needs tons of reps and focus on her over all technique. With her arm swing she needs to focus on swinging through the ball and not stopping on contact and making sure to open her hips to her setter on the last two steps and when she goes to contact the ball closing & facing toward the net. With proper footwork in her approach and more explosive last two steps she will see more power generated in her attack. As a passer she needs to push forward on her balls of her feet and angle platform to target. She needs to focus on staying low the entire time as she will pop up early when ball contacts her platform. As a defender she needs to work to get to the ball and trust her feet. She has a good locked platform but needs to angle it to target. From the end line she needs tons of reps and focus on proper technique. With her standing float she needs to focus on weight transfer from back foot to front foot to help generate power and keep he elbow up. Then when coming through to hit the ball she needs to contact the back middle of the ball.
