- Maddie is a 2018 Setter. Maddie does a good job of getting her platform out quickly, angling her arms which results in good location to target. She displays good hustle and eagerness to learn making her a very coachable player. See does a good job squaring up to the pins and jump setting 4 out 5 balls to help draw the blockers and open up her hitters. Currently Maddie is working on beating the ball to the location and staying towards the sideline on defense. She does a great job of squaring up to the net when setting which makes for hittable balls to her hitters, she has continuously improved as a player each time we see her and we are excited to see what collegiate program Maddie chooses in the next couple years.
12/27/2016 - Volleyball Factory Winter Training in Colorado Springs
- Madelyn is a 2018 Setter. She has a good float with speed and consistency creating it tough for the offense to make a 3 set option. During defense and passing, she had good ball control with a solid platform creating a settable ball, while working to gain more ground laterally it will allow her to become a big threat in the back court. She makes a fluid movement from serve receive and transitioning to the outside with a good backswing and creating a high touch on the ball making it easy for her to work around the block. Erin is currently working on her defense off the net and transition out for the attack. Overall, Maddie is a hard working player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
