12/27/2015 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Winter Training at Lake Placid
- Melissa is a 2017 Outside/Middle Block. Melissa is a great athlete that can play at a high level in both positions as a outside and middle. During the Advanced Winter Training at Lake Placid she came in to train as a middle and did a great job. She was able to hit the first tempo ball effectively while blocking to the pins and coming off to get an approach. When attacking from the outside she has a good vertical that allows her to hit over and around the block creating easy points for her team. Defensively she continuous to get better and her movement continues to get faster, she does a good job getting her platform out early and tracking the ball. Melissa will be a great addition to a collegiate program in two years.

- Melissa is a 2017 Outside/Middle Blocker. Melissa is a talented 6 rotation player that can play multiple positions. Being able to play both outside and middle makes her a valuable player for any team she is on. She showed good movements in defense and passing, creating good platform location and creating a good angle when passing outside her body. While hitting she has a good vertical, creating her contact point higher than most blocks making it easy for her to score points and also being able to run multiple plays because of her versatility in playing both outside and middle. Melissa will be a great addition to the college of her choosing.
