08/20/2017 - College PREP - Portland, OR - Morgan Harter is a 2022 setter. Young player, Morgan is just entering her eighth grade year and shows great potential but has a good amount of time to continue work and develop as a player. As a setter she is working be more confident on the court and talk more to her teammates. As a setter you must lead and it is a characteristic that is developed over time. Through more reps and coaching she will work on getting hands high and up early, staying square and getting balls out to the pins consistently. She has a good build and with time could develop into a good setter. Defensively she has good court awareness and is able to reacting to balls. She is continuing to focus on faster feet to the ball and not swinging her arms to target. From the end line she has a jump float and standing float serve. She serves a good ball deep and short and it passes low to the net. She is continuing to work on consistency in toss and with hat will come power. Overall we are so excited to have Morgan on board with the Volleyball Factory. Only entering eighth grade, she has goals set to play in college and is on her journey to become a stronger player. We are looking forward in working with her more and see her growth through the years.
