06/18/2017 - AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championship - Peyton Groft is a 2018 libero. She is a very smart and consistent passer with good technique. As a passer she delivers a consistent quality pass to the target/setter ad when moved has good footwork. Defensively she has very good court awareness. She reads her hitters well and consistently gets the ball to target and makes plays. From the end line Peyton has a consistent, tough float serve that is able to hit any zone called out by the coach. As a player dedicated in finding the right college program for her she continues to work on her court presence as a vocal leader. Peyton is a joy to coach and would be a great addition to a college program.
12/06/2015 - College PREP - Bellevue (Omaha), NE - Peyton is a 2018 Libero. She had good speed and solid contact with the ball on her serve, creating a consistent jump float each time. Peyton had great lateral movements while in defense and serve receive which led to accurate passes to the setter. Being a very vocal player created her to be more aggressive on plays and pushing her to the next level in defense picking up a lot of balls. She is continuing to work on her reaction time when she is playing defense out of middle back. Overall, Peyton is a hard working player and with continued coaching, reps and exposure she will have the opportunity to play at the next level and be a valuable asset to a great collegiate program.
