12/27/2015 - Volleyball Factory Advanced Winter Training at Lake Placid - Sara is a 2017 Outside Hitter. Sara is a great athlete that can play at a high level. She is a talented 6 rotation player. She showed good movements in defense and passing, creating good platform location and creating a good angle when passing outside her body. While hitting she has a good vertical, creating her contact point higher than most blocks making it easy for her to score points and also being able to run multiple plays because of her versatility in playing both outside and opposite. We are excited to she how which collegiate program she chooses in the future.
06/07/2015 - College PREP - Memphis, TN - Sara is actively engaged throughout the learning process. She is a coachable player and is willing to learn once information is provided. And although young, she has the athletic ability to make changes. I would like to see her compete and train at a high level in order to see how fast she can make corrections and how easily she could get to the next level of play for her position. From a technical standpoint, I would like for her to develop a backswing in her approach and to develop more power on her attack. She does show consistency in her attack and shows a fast arm/wrist which is important when playing on the outside. Speeding up her footwork in the backcourt will also help her become a six rotation player. She has time on her side to make these improvements, and we trust she will with hard work.
